About Missy Cat LLC

Missy Cat LLC, co-founded by Mallory J. Stevens and Jesús García, is a creative team dedicated to developing and publishing unique and engaging stories for children. We are also a record label, with our first song due to be released May 3.

We strive to imagine the world through their eyes, capturing the essence of childhood fun while, at the same time, imparting positive messages to help foster social emotional learning (SEL).  Nanushka Is Missing! (© 2022) is the first book of The Adventures of Clive & Sydney, the Dancing Armadillos children’s picture book series. Our works can translate beautifully to other media, such as animated movies, animated TV series, and video games.

 
 

Our Team

  • Mallory J. Stevens

    CO-FOUNDER

    Author of The Adventures of Clive & Sydney, the Dancing Armadillos: Nanushka Is Missing!, Mallory is a multilingual, professional mediator and conflict resolution consultant in private practice in New York City. She holds a Master of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University and is a Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude graduate of Hofstra University. Her articles have appeared in the Federal Bar Association's Alternative Dispute Resolution publication, The Resolver, and the Huffington Post, among others.

    A love of children and a passion for the art of expression have led her to write this, her first children’s book, as well as the books that will follow in the series. She can’t wait to share Clive and Sydney’s next adventures!

  • Jesús García

    CO-FOUNDER

    Born in Bayamo, Cuba, Jesús is a graphic designer and concept artist in New York City and is the concept artist, cover and graphic designer, and art director of The Adventures of Clive & Sydney, the Dancing Armadillos: Nanushka Is Missing!.  In addition to his freelance work, he is co-owner and director of visual design at HungryMonster.co, a web content and design company. His background also includes an extensive career in art direction for the advertising industry. Classically trained in fine art at Pratt Institute, Jesús relishes in an unequivocal passion for fantasy illustration.

    The characters of Nanushka and two dancing armadillos were born out of his fertile imagination and self-avowed pride in keeping his inner child alive.
